Alberta's Institute for Wildlife Conservation They are happy to invite you to join them for our August Coffee & Tea discussion “Collaboration for One Health.” speaker, Joe Cashmore from Wildlife Health Australia, will share insights into how wildlife rehabilitation fits into the broader wildlife health landscape, examples of national wildlife disease working groups that have incorporated and benefited from the involvement of wildlife rehabilitators, and perspectives on the interconnectivity and collaboration needed to meet the rising need for early detection, disease surveillance, and improved health outcomes.
Joe began his journey in wildlife as a volunteer wildlife rescuer, which sparked a career spanning over a decade dedicated to supporting the welfare of wildlife and the people who care for them through advocacy, engagement, and building and strengthening collaborative networks.
